T.O. Webfest is back for 2026, and with a new submission category!

Save the dates: the 13th annual T.O. Webfest will take place on September 29th & 30th at the Novotel in downtown Toronto. 

This year, we’ve also added a new submission & screening category to T.O. Webfest: Short Film Pilots!

Aspiring series creators can now submit short films intended to act as pilots or proof of concepts for series they’re pitching. Please check out our FilmFreeway page for all the details and a complete list of rules and guidelines! The best short film pilot will receive an award at our Awards Gala.

We’ve also extended our Earlybird submission deadline from February 28th to March 7th, so head on over and submit your project before prices increase!
